The things I remember most about Jami are her big beautiful eyes, her laugh, and her tremendous love for animals. Even after I moved to Seattle, Jami and I kept in touch for quite sometime. I was extremely flattered when she told me that she felt I knew her better than most people who had known her all her life. Her biggest desire in life was to be loved and fully accepted by her friends and loved ones. (Don't we all?) She was, as my dad says, "Good people". I WILL see her again sometime, and I know right where I will find her - she'll be where all the animals are.
To her family...I'm sorry I wasn't there for her in the last few years...she was in my thoughts more than any of you could know. I hope life was treating her kind before she left this world...and I hope you all are left with only the good memories of this truly unique lady.

Jami will never be forgotten. She had an aura of joy that she took everywhere with her, and she always left some of the joy behind.

I'm so sorry to read about this. Jami and I used to spend hours ever day playing with those little plastic zoo animals on the front porch. First we'd take turns choosing he animals and then we'd draw homes for them with chalk. Some of my fondest childhood memories were of playing with Jami and those animals. You were loved dearly and will be missed by so many.

Growing up with Jami and Matt in Ohio was pure joy - they were always ready to try anything, and "can't" wasn't even in her vocabulary. I guess some summers I spent as much time at the Bickhard house as my own. Godspeed, Jami.

I remember Jami and the good times we had playing in the neighborhood. She was always so creative -- and we loved playing with the Fisher Price Little People barn. I have not seen her since high school, but I thought of her often as my kids played with the same toys. Your family is in my thoughts.

Jack and Ruby: We are very sorry to read of Jami's death. It's been a long time since we have seen her but we certainly remember her energy and love for sports. We will be praying for you and the family, that the wonderful memories you have with Jami, will surround you with comfort in your grief and that you will call on Him to be your strength.
Blessings,
Bob and Mary George
