Jeffrey Scott Boll

Boll, Jeffrey Scott, born September 18th, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas passed from this life Friday, Jan. 25th, 2013 as a result of a stroke. Jeff grew up in Wichita and was a longtime resident. He graduated from Wichita Southeast High School in 1980 and attended the University of Kansas from 1980 to 1984. While at K.U., Jeff was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Jeff has been in the hearts and prayers of all those that love him. At his passing and by his side was mother, Karen; fiance', Randy, and father, Virgil, stepmother, Patricia. In addition to his parents Jeff is survived by his sister, Valerie Boll; nieces and nephews, Caleb, Cana, Jaden, and Cole. Jeffrey is also survived by, brothers, Donnie Vaughan and Zachary Goldberg, sister, Whitney Goldberg all of Wichita; brother, Joshua Boll and sister, Alexa Boll of D'Hanis, Texas. Outside of the immediate family Jeff enjoyed unconditional love from his cousins, the children of Aunt Ardath Kimmich of Sun Valley, Idaho and Uncle Frank Carney of Wichita, Kansas. Jeff spent many years traveling in Texas and was an accomplished tennis professional in Sun Valley, Idaho. He loved sports, competition, enjoyed hiking, and was an avid skier, skiing on the slopes of Mount Baldy in Idaho. Jeffrey will be greatly missed. He was a free spirit, non-judge mental, giving man. A true friend, that always helped others. A memorial service is being planned at St. John's Episcopal Church in downtown Wichita for Saturday, March 23rd at 1:00p.m.
