GODDARD - Eck, John Urban, 63, foreman for Foundations, Inc., passed away Dec. 25, 2010. Rosary 7 p.m., Monday; funeral service, 10:30 a.m., Tuesday with Fathers Ivan and Reinhard Eck officiating, both at St. Mark Catholic Church, St. Mark, KS. John is survived by mother, Dorothy and his wife, Brenda, both of Colwich; sons, John (Emily), Wichita; Daniel (Karla), Andale; & David (Shellie), Andale; daughters, Katie (Damon) Turkle, Wichita; and Betsy of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Carl and Greg; sisters, Theresa Woodard, Doris Hein, and Tina Lies; grandchildren, Anna, Ella, Bodie, Josie, Jewel, Jaden, Jaley, Henry, Sophie, Chloe, and Sawyer. He is preceded by his father, Urban and 2 brothers, Dennis and Urban. Memorials may be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Guadalupe Clinic. Arrangements by Wulf-Ast Mortuaries, Colwich.

Brenda and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I was unaware of John's passing or I would have made the funeral. He was a great friend to me at St. Gregory's and I will never forget him.
