NEWTON - Opland, Vickie Jo, 45, died June 29, 2006. Visitation 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, with family receiving friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway St.; burial will be 9 a.m. Monday, Greenwood Cemetery, Newton; memorial service 11:30 a.m. Monday, Salvation Army, 1739 S. Elpyco, Wichita. Survivors: husband, Steve; son, Cody; daughters, Mandy Ammerman, DeAnna Opland; brothers, Mike and Charlie Larkins; sisters, LaWynna Clementz, Crystal Belt, Nonnie Callaway, Terrie Giordano; 2 grandchildren. Memorials: American Cancer Society and DeAnna and Cody Education Fund in c/o Bank of the West.

I will always remember Vickie's sweet spirit and the friendship she gave to me. Vickie will be greatly missed by all that knew her. To Chaz, Mandy, Cody & DeAnna, I say hold on to the memories. I am praying that Our God will give you comfort during this time and that He will just surround you with His Peace. Love Always.
