Berta "Bert" Wade

Berta "Bert" Wade, 70, of rural Marshall, MO, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2002, at First United Methodist Church, Marshall; burial in Ridge Park Cemetery, Marshall. Visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home, Marshall. Memorial contributions may be made to Malta Bend United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wade was born October 2, 1932, in Grand Pass, MO, to Cecil Martin Gorman and Tressa Lee Rohn Gorman, both deceased. She married J.R. Wade on November 25, 1951, in Malta Bend; he survives of the home. She had lived in Saline County her entire life, and was a member of Malta Bend United Methodist Church. She is also survived by five daughters, Paula Gauldin and husband Cliff, Princeton, MO, Pam Weiseman and husband Randall, Pensacola, FL, Nina Lanyon and husband Corry, Butler, MO, Angie Collins and husband Don, rural Marshall, MO, and Lisa Cloughley, Marshall, MO; brother, Harry Gorman, Jamestown, MO; sister, Colleen Kalthoff, Kirbyville, MO; 13 grandchildren; one greatgrandson; special family friends, Dana Livsey and family; also, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kevin Wade, a brother, Jack Gorman; and two sisters, Eileen Kemp and Virginia "Jenny" Thorp.
