BEVERLY CROWL Obituary

Beverly Sue Crowl, 69, Independence, MO, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 26, 2010 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Beverly was born March 1, 1941 in Warsaw, MO the daughter of Elmer Earl and Ruby Rowe Shultz. She was employed for 32 years with the Independence Police Department, and worked in numerous departments including purchasing and record keeping. Beverly enjoyed retirement and occupied her time with gardening, she also enjoyed politics and camping, most of all she loved being with her grandchildren and great grandson. Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Dennis L. Crowl in 1988; brother, Charles Shultz; and her parents. Survivors include her son, David L. Arnold and wife Sharon; daughters, Denise L. Glynn and husband Steven; and Dana L. Crowl all of Independence; three granddaughters; two grandsons; one great grandson; sisters, Earline of Camdenton; Dorothy of Lawson; Fern of Kansas City; Barbara of Independence; and numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara I just heard about Beverly's death. So sorry for your loss. I don't know if you remember me or not but my name was Judy Kuykendall and I married Gene Meyer of Sedalia in 1960.
