Byron "Beep" P. Duncan Byron "Beep" P. Duncan, 85 of Prairie Village, KS passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 26, 2019. The Celebration of Life will be on February 1, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS, where he was a member for 60 years. Born on May 17, 1933 in Kansas City, MO, Beep was the son of Byron and Susan Duncan. He attended Paseo High, then graduated in Business from the University of Missouri. At Mizzou, he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, where he developed lifelong friendships. At Mizzou, Beep met and married the love of his life, Patricia McKee. After school, Beep served in the Army, and then had a long career as a traveling salesman. Beep truly enjoyed his friendships with fellow golfers through his 40-year membership at Mission Hills Country Club. However, his favorite passion was watching his grandchildren swim, dance, cheerlead, or play soccer, baseball and basketball. Byron is survived by his wife of 62 years,Patricia S. Duncan, son David (Kelly) Duncan Tampa, FL; daughter Kim (Rob) Hunter, Prairie Village, KS; grandchildren Matt Duncan, Kasey (Nick) Sharpe, Allie Hunter, Riley Hunter, and Lauren Hunter; his sister Suzanne Capps; and brother-in-law, Mike McKee.
