CARL ROBERT "BOB" UTTER

CARL UTTER Obituary

Carl Robert "Bob" Utter peacefully passed away December 26, 2009, with dignity, surrounded by his loving family. Carl was born on April 28, 1950 in KCMO and had lived in the Raytown area all of his life. He was a devoted and loving son to his mother and father. Carl was employed by Missouri Gas Energy for more than 30 years. He graduated from DeLaSalle High School in Kansas City, MO. Carl served his country in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed the many activities the midwestern great outdoors has to offer. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, and spending time with his nephews. Carl leaves in his journey of life, his loving parents, Mary and Carl Utter, his sister, Donna Stillwell and husband, Phil Stillwell, and brother, John Utter and wife, Rose Utter. Additionally, he leaves behind his many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews, and his closest companion, Suzie, his dog. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December, 29th, at Floral Hills Funeral Home. For those who would like, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice or to the American Cancer Society. I'm sorry to hear of your loss ...but Carl is in a much better place without pain in God's hands. May he rest in peace.
I worked with Carl for just over 10 years when he was with the Gas Company in Kansas ...he was usually quiet and a hard worker ...he will be missed.

John & Rose, Mary & Carl, Phil & Donna,

My heart goes out to each and everyone of you during this difficult time for all of you. It is so hard to lose a loved one, but remember he is not suffering anymore. I know that thought doesn't make it any easier for the loved ones left behind, but God will see you through. He said he would always be there for us, just ask. In Jesus name I pray for peace and comfort for each and everyone of Bob's loved ones.
