Kansas City, Missouri - Christopher Alan Brown, 54, passed away November 2, 2022 in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri to parents Michael and Mary Brown. Chris was a radio operator in the U.S Marine Corps and served during the Persian Gulf War as part of the liberation of Kuwait. Chris was a graduate of Rockhurst High School and the University of Kansas. He was a successful civil and mechanical engineer, working in both the public and private sector throughout his career. Chris enjoyed beekeeping, hunting, good ball games, bad jokes, and any Jayhawk win. He loved his wife and best friend, Cori, his children, and his hound dog, Royal Brown. Chris is preceded in death by his father Michael, and is survived by three daughters, Megan, Morgan and Maggie Brown; his stepsons, Taylor and Damon Burke; his brothers, Patrick and Jeffrey Brown; his mother, Mary Brown; and a large, loving extended family. A private gathering has been arranged for his committal to Leavenworth National Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be announced and held at a later date.
