David P. Mesh Sr.

David P. Mesh, Sr., 81, KCK, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Shawnee Gardens Nursing Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 14 at Christ the King Catholic Church, KCK. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Joseph A. Butler & Son Funeral Home, 19th & Minnesota Ave., KCK, where a Prayer Service will be at 6 p.m. The family suggests memorials to Catholic Charities, 2220 Central Ave., KCK 66101. Mr. Mesh was born in Kansas City, KS, and worked in sales. He was an Army veteran of WWII. Mr. Mesh was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 1993, a daughter, Maureen, three brothers, Louis, Leonard and Michael and sister, Ruth. He leaves two sons, David P. Mesh, Jr. and wife, Kristine and Dan Mesh, a daughter, Martha Mesh, four grandchildren and nieces, Nanette Siems, Noreen Monroe and Michelle Kurowski. (Arr: Joseph A. Butler & Son, 913-371-7000).
