Chasity,
I am truly sorry to hear of the passing of Devon. I always enjoyed hearing the updates of her and seeing her hanging out with you at Caseys. She fought for 13 years and what a brave girl she was. Now you need to take some of that fight she had and use it for yourself to help you get through this horrible time. It will not be easy and somedays it will feel impossible but on those days remember that she is smiling down at you and watching over you. May God help carry you through this and know that we are all behind you and will remain that way.

Chastity, Hazel, and Sam: I am terribly sorry that we were not able to attend the services on Sat. We love and miss Devon so much. My heart and soul are aching for you guys back home. I wish I had never left. We will be thinking of you on Sat. and having our own private memorial for Dev. here in AZ. Love wendi and jake.... Devon was the daughter I never had. Sis is my bff and sister.

From what I have read Devon was a wonderful, strong young person that touched so many hearts, made so many friends, and had so much love and kindness to share with everyone. It is hard to believe. I still look for Devon outside, playing with my dog.Tippy looks for her when she hears kids next door. We are so saddened by her passing. Devon was wise beyond her years and was such an inspiration to all who knew her. What a brave fighter. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and with Devon. We will miss her dearly.

I did not know Devon or her family but I knew one like hers and that was mine. My niece had cystic fibrosis and also fought long and hard. She was an angel on this earth as I am sure Devon was. I know my niece Jenny is with her now and comforting her and her family. We all share in your loss. God Bless you all.

im unable to express the sadness my heart is feeling i have lost a sister without a doubt! I looked up to devon greatly as we grew together and became friends over the years in our hospital stays i have always considered her my hero i know without a doubt i can tackle my cf with the same strength,courage and conviction she did! Devon's personality and spirit will remain on 6H. She was such a sweet, ornery, wonderful young lady.Devon will be missed greatly by all of the nurses and care assistants whom had the privilege of taking care of her. I will miss her smile, her cute giggle and her quick wit. My heartfelt sympathy to Devon's family. You all have been in my thoughts.
