GEORGE E. SALLER George E. Saller, 88, passed away June 22, 2017, at KU Medical Center. Cremation rites were accorded. George was born March 14, 1929, in Kansas City, MO, to Henry and Elizabeth Saller. George lived most of his life in the Kansas City area and attended Southeast High School. He was a graduate of the University of Kansas where he received his degree in mechanical engineering. He married Arthea North in 1951, and they celebrated 61 anniversaries. They had four children. George and Arthea were devoted Christians, and always endeavored to help others. George helped to build the consulting engineering company, George Butler and Associates (GBA). George was preceded in death by his wife, Arthea, and grandson, George Robison. He is survived by four children, Arthur Saller (Julie), Carol Sue Winsby (Bryan), Richard Saller (Tanya) and Dorothy Saller; nine grandchildren; sister, Betty Price (Doug). He also left many dear friends in the Kansas City area and many other parts of the world. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Community Christian Church, with a reception after the service.
