I am so sad to hear of Jean's passing. She was the best accounting teacher ever, but most of all she was a wonderful counselor, advisor, and christian friend. She was very patient to me at a time when I was going back to school for the first time in years. There was a lot of change going on in my life and she helped me keep things in perspective. I thank God for her and look forward to seeing her in Heaven some day. My prayers are with her dear family.

Steve and family,
Our hearts ache for all of you at Jean's passing. We count it a privilege to call Jean our colleague and friend during her time in the Doctor of Business Administration Program at Anderson University and in all the years since she completed her doctoral degree. Her kindness to all of us and her persistence in her work are something we'll always remember. She was the face of God to us in those times. Our prayers are with you today and in the days ahead. May the peace of Christ be yours.

Dear Steve and family,
My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. Jean was loved by so many, including those who toiled with her in the DBA program at Anderson University. We will remember Jean's kind and gentle spirit, her thoughtful words of wisdom, and her contributions to our education.
May God comfort you,

Steve, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was in Jean's Cost Accounting class as a Junior (many years ago). While accounting never came easy to me, Jean had a way of explaining things that made it easier for my economic brain to understand! She was notorious for investing in the lives of her students, and I'm grateful to have known her while on Jewell's campus! Praying for you and your family.

Hello, Steve,
We were so fond of Jean. Don found her very interesting to talk with.
We did not know of her illness. Apparently, she worked with students nearly to the end. We will miss her and grieve with you.
Fondly,
Neita

I would have never made it through my 4 years at William Jewell if not for the kindness, caring, sympathetic ear, guidance, love, support, encouragement and faith that this woman put into me. She was my rock, my adviser, my friend and one of the loveliest persons I have ever known. My genuine love and sympathy go out to Jean's family, friends and former students. Those of you who had her in class or were lucky enough to have her as your adviser know exactly what she meant to so many of us. She was a calm and steady light in this world and I know that we will all be a little less without her in it.

Steve and Family,
I am so very thankful to have been able to share a small part of the earthly journey with this remarkable woman. Knowing she has gone on to Christ's waiting arms, it's like a light has gone out in our community--much more so for you, I know.
I am with you all in prayer, and look forward to the day we will all be together once again.
in the Master's hand,
