Linda, Becky and were so sorry to hear about Peppers passing, what a great guy and a great family you all have. I remember so well of his love for capturing special moments and special memories for his customers and friends. We truly value your family as our family. We had common interests in helping people to give them a way of remembering thru pictures and videos of the important events of their lives. Harland and Frances said many times what a special place they had in their hearts for the Shady family. May God wrap you in love and comfort in the days to come. We love you, and if you need anything , we´re there for you and your family.

Pepper embodied what we called The Marion Spirit and was a natural fit for rolemodeling Mr. K's principles. R.I.P.

I remember when Pepper came & videotaped my annual Christmas Party in 1988 . I still have the videotape. He was a bright, hardworking, creative, soul with a good word for everyone. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and worked with him. RIP good buddy! dan

Linda, I am sorry to hear of Pepper's death. I pray you and your family experience God's presence in a very real and personal way in the weeks and months ahead as you remember Pepper's life and the impact he had on those around him. I recall his ready smile and friendly attitude when your family and ours were at Winnwood Baptist Church long ago.

I was a classmate of Peppers. He was a great guy always smiling and friendly. We have missed him at the class reunions. I just happed to go through my wedding album today and noticed he had signed the guest book. When I turned the pictures over I realized he had been our photographer. December 29,1967. The pictures are artfully done and still in perfect condition. Prayers for his loving family.

I loved walking into Walmart and I´m always having a smile on his face greeting me and asking if I needed anything and if I knew where I was going. I know we worked really hard to leave one Walmart to go to another Walmart and he was so happy about that and I enjoyed going down there and saying hello to them. I´m sorry for his loss and though I didn´t know him on a personal level, he definitely made me smile as a Walmart employee. Praying for the family.

My main memory of Pepper is the pride his Dad, Lew, had in him. I worked with Lew at the News-Press in St. Joseph, and recall when Pepper ran for student body president at Central High School. May he rest in peace.

I worked with Pepper at Walmart. I was always so happy to see him stroll through the doors when his shift started. Always had a smile on his face and he had a heart of gold. I truly will miss you Pepper so glad I got to know you in just the few months that we worked together. You never failed to tell me to "be careful" when I left for the day. Rest easy my sweet friend...

Pepper videographed my parents' 50th wedding anniversary celebration back in 1991 in Kansas City KS. He was truly a pleasure to deal with and provided us with a beautiful record of many loved ones and friends. I remember he really put his all into the effort. I imagine that he did most things with sincerity and vigor. Godspeed, Pepper. I'm glad our paths crossed.
