PATRICIA LORRAINE JOY

PATRICIA LORRAINE JOY Patricia Lorraine Joy, 44, unexpectedly passed away at her home in Phoenix, AZ, on August 24, 2017. Tricia was born in Kansas City, MO, and grew up in Belton, MO. She became a Christian and lived her life for Jesus. She was a people person and was thoughtful, creative (like her mother), encouraging, humorous, generous, and loved viewing movies and writing. In her youth, Tricia attended Blue Ridge Christian School, Belton High School and the College of the Ozarks. She then moved to the Phoenix area and transferred to Arizona State University where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Communications. Tricia was preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Lou Joy, and by her maternal grandparents, Willard and Pat Wilkinson, Lee's Summit. She is survived by her sisters, Michelle Joy of Phoenix, her father, J. Michael Joy of Lee's Smmit and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Tricia's life was held Sunday, Sept. 10, at Desert Breeze Community Church in Phoenix, AZ.
