I am a cousin. Pinky was a best friend of my sister Bernice and visited us in Chicago from time to time. The last time we saw each other was when we went together to an art show in Florida. I sent an occasional email in recent years but got no reply. I only became aware of her passing this afternoon. At 90, looking in the obituaries for people who have been important parts of our lives is not unknown. Anyhow, I have missed her these past few years and will continue to do. I see that Arthur is not referred to as "late" so I hope he is still around. If so, please pass on our condolences, Sara´s and mine.

I met Pinky in a Zumba class. I was in awe of her enthusiasm for fitness in her 80´s! She had a great sense of humor, a ready smile, a sweet and open heart, and a wonderful sense of adventure. We all asked her often if we could be like her when we grew up. She was an amazing lady, and will be missed by all who had the honor of dancing with her in Jake´s Zumba class. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you find a "new normal " without her here.
