Rob and I were college roommates at K.U., first at Kappa Sigma, then in a couple off-campus apartments. Rob got me into golf, introduced me to the thrill of horse racing, and turned me on to more music than I ever knew existed. Road trips in his "Subie" to Lincoln and Omaha to watch the ponies, ski trips to Ft. Collins and Loveland, and the Smoky Hill River Festival in Salina with his brother, Rich, will be treasured memories. I will miss Rob like no other friend. As we say in Elkdom, "the faults of our brothers we write upon the sand; their virtues, upon the tablets of love and memory." He was a free spirit and a truly remarkable man.

I was saddened to hear about Rob's passing. I went to high school with him at Salina Central High School and I always admired his upbeat attitude and devilish smile. He never probably knew how much he was admired by all of us. He looked great at our 25th High School Reunion and never missed a smile! He will be missed. I'm sorry I could not make the service, but my thoughts and prayers are with him and his surviving family.

When we were in Estes, we were remembering Christmas trips of the past. Rob was such great fun--sleding, skiing, playing games, and tolerating the boys. He helped them build a sledding run, and cracked a sled with the boys on a killer icy run. I remember Rob, the skinny little guy from the neighborhood with a shinning smile. I remember Rob who surrounded you with a bear hug. I am richer for knowing you Rob.

My first memory of Rob was in Mrs. Williams' nursery school class. All of the girls had a crush on him. We had a great birthday party together at Starlight Skating Rink one year. It was a blast! I always had fun with Rob because he had a great attitude and was easy to be around. I will miss him alot.

Rob & my younger sister Jodi were both born on May 27th, 1960 at Asbury Hospital in Salina. Our Mom remembers sharing labor stories with Betty. Jodi & Rob were classmates from Meadowlark Ridge to North Jr. High to Salina Central. Our parents share alot of fun memories with Bob & Betty Lindeman. Jodi & I loved Rob very much and will miss him dearly. He always knew how to make us laugh. Our hearts go out to Mindy & Emily and their family and Kathy and her family! God Bless.

Rob and I have been friends all of our life. We lived around the corner from each other growing up, and attended KU together. We were both Kappa Sig's. I will always miss Rob, the picture in our paper is exactly how I remember Rob, always with a devilish smile on his face.

Rob and his family have always been special to us, since his daughter Emily shared many nannies with our daughter, Sarah, in our home. So Rob or Mindy would just walk in the back door every day, and every day we would exchange greetings for over three years.

We remember Rob and Emily taking us to swim at the lake, and go fishing. He had a kind and generous spirit. We will greatly miss him.

I went to school with Rob from first to twelfth grade. At our recent high school reunion I was so happy to discover that Rob maintained the positive attitude and infectious laugh he possessed in his youth. I'll miss you Rob.

I was very sad to hear about Rob's passing. We lived in the same neighborhood growing up and I have many great memories of him. The one thing that stands out in my mind is what a good natured person he was as a kid and an adult. He had a great laugh.....sometimes devious, but great! My condolences to his family and many friends.

We were shocked to read of Rob's passing. Rob's father delivered our son, Kevin, who attended grade school with Rob. Duane had a heart transplant, also, and Rob and his family have always been in our prayers.
