I remember going to Uncle Rudy & Aunt Monies when I was very young with my mom & grandparents (Mary Ann and Florence & Bill Richardson). That was a long time ago. I have been to the reunions over the past few years and have enjoyed seeing everyone - he will be missed.

I remember the family reunions at his house. We all had fun. I met alot of my husbands family and enjoyed all of them. I will miss Uncle Rudy. He was a great man and whenever you were around him he made you feel loved and welcomed in his home. We are very sorry and our prayers and thoughts will be with the family.

My first memory of Rudy and Monie was almost 50 years ago, arriving in Missouri and Kansas as a new bride, having just married their baby brother Gene, and being welcomed into their home with open arms. Living on the east coast, I hadn't had the opportunity to meet any of Gene's family until our trip west, although I felt as though I had known them for years. Using "snail mail" since computers were not available to us in those days, there was always correspondence between them and myself. It was finally wonderful to meet them in person, and I was certainly thrilled with their reception to me. Every visit Gene and I made back "home" we were welcomed again and again into their home. I can't tell you how wonderful they made me feel.

I, like Gene, am the youngest of a very large family, so Rudy was just like one of my brothers. His warm smile and wonderful sense of humor will always be in my memory. I know that Rudy is happy now being reunited with Monie, but he will be sadly missed by everyone he left behind. Rudy, Jr, Angel and Butch, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. There is a special place for you all in heaven for all that you have done for your parents and grandparents. I love you all.

Uncle Rudy is among my most cherished memories and will remain there forever. Daddy and Mom used to share stories about Uncle Rudy and Aunt Monie with us from ealier years, and I, in turn, have shared them and all of my memories with my kids. I hold those memories dear. I loved him very much and he was such an important part of our lives. Sandy and Gene Pringle (Caswell's daughter).

What can I say about Uncle Rudy. What a wonderful Man-he was a great Uncle and I cherish the memories of him and Aunt Monie. I just looked at a video that was made of the visits to the farm not long ago and had a smile the whole time while watching it. He is truly an amazing "Man" and will be missed. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. With our deepest sympathy! Love you guys!
