Although I did not know Bill well, my memories of him are very, very positive and fond. I recall his willingness to help saw and remove tree limbs from both my and my neighbors yard during the big ice storm a few years back. I never saw him without a smile and a positive thing to say. I remember how happy he was at Pam's wedding -that man truly knew how to celebrate!! After you left his presence, you always felt better and happier. You then touched others with the joy of Bill Pappas - he had that kind of far-reaching effect. He is now most assuredly enjoying the fruits and rewards of his tremendous life. He touched me and I will never forget him. He was a most remarkable man!

I have very fond memories of Bill, both in person when I was visiting Kansas City and through the great stories of a colorful childhood told by dad, John Kanas, and my uncle, George Kanas. My best wishes and condolences to all.

Dear Nikki, Pam, & Greg:
I remember Bill fondly when I think of my childhood and how he would give me "Hershey Kisses" when we would come to visit. His kindness, friendship and joy was a great gift to my sisters and Mom (Rose). Blessings to all of you.

My deepest sympathy to Nikki and family.
I was fortunate to have worked with Bill at McDowell tire co.
He was always an "up" person, and I never saw him without a smile.
His customers were many and loyal, and he never met a stranger.
What a great loss.
