Steven Siener Obituary

Died: Jan. 20, 2011; in St. Louis

PADUCAH, Ky. – Steven Richard Siener, 49, of Paducah, Ky., passed away at 1:55 pm on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Steven was a member of Reidland United Methodist Church. He was an electrical engineer and vice president of Phascco, LLC. In Paducah. Steve was a past Grand Master Of Illinois Odd Fellows 2000-2001. He was currently serving in his third term as president of the Board of Trustees for the Odd Fellow/ Rebekah Nursing Home in Mattoon, Ill. He was initiated into the Odd Fellows in Sycamore in October 1994 and transferred to the Flora Odd Fellows in October of 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea (Utley) Siener of Paducah; children, Angela Siener of South Elgin, Loren Reed of Paducah and Brock Reed and wife Ashley of Paducah; father, Paul Siener and wife Colleen of Kingston; brother, Greg Siener and wife Melissa of Paducah; stepsister, Faria P'Pool of Cadiz; and grandson, Noah Reed of Paducah.

Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Sue (Farmer) Siener.

Memorial services will be held at 4 pm on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at the Reidland United Methodist Church with Dr. Sky McCracken officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Reidland United Methodist Church with an Oddfellows service beginning at 3 p.m.

Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of the arrangements.

Our most heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Siener Family. Steve's passing left a big hole in our hearts as well as we had the privilege and pleasure to know him and love him for many years. He was a good man and you have many reasons to be proud of him and to celebrate his life. In time, the pain will diminish and the good memories will remain.
