Edward Axmann Obituary
Edward J. Axmann, 80, of Kearney, formerly of Ravenna, passed away on July 2, 2024, at Mt. Carmel Home Keens Memorial in Kearney. Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Monday, July 8, at Grace Lutheran Church in Pleasanton with Pastor Dean Hanson officiating. Burial is at a later date. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney. Memorials are suggested to the Pleasanton Volunteer Fire Department or Grace Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be shared at hlmkfuneral.com. Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services of Kearney is in charge of arrangements.

'Eddy' will always be remembered by me as a 'big brother' since he was a classmate of my actual big brother. Eddy was five years older and I looked up to all of my older classmates in our one-room country school called Fairview Dist. 21 near Sweetwater, NE where Eddy and his family resided. I still possess a picture of our country school attendees, and Eddy is readily recognizable. I just hold good memories of his life during that time period. He will be missed by his family and friends.
