Richard Loudon
Hastings resident Richard Dean Loudon, 81, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.
Memorial Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, August 23, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com. Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.
Richard was born July 17, 1943, in Hastings, NE to Donald and Helen (Knosp) Loudon. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1962. Richard married Suzanne Neubert on June 22, 1982, at First Christian Church. He was employed as a truck driver for many years. Richard was a member of the First Christian Church. He enjoyed gardening and loved his horses.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Peggy Weibe; brother, Robert Loudon; and son-in-law, Kelly Coons.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Loudon – Hastings, NE; daughters, Kim Coons – Elm Creek and Teri Conover – Killeen, TX; grandchildren, Bryce and Jessica Sadd, Natasha and Josh Beck, Jon Loudon, Cindy Caulder, David Loudon; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister and spouse, Linda and Omar Frost – Kearney, NE.
