Craig "Mac" Cunningham, age 86, of Hinckley, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Seton Hospital in Harker Heights, TX.
He was born March 23, 1939 in Lake City, IA to Sherman E. and Velma M. (Kelly) Cunningham. Craig was united in marriage to Shirley Ann Behrens on August 14, 1965. They were married for 59 years.
Craig served in the United States Army. He was a truck driver for 35 years & a member of the Teamsters. Upon retirement, Craig & Shirley enjoyed many years traveling throughout the United States & Canada.
Craig was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, & uncle who will be missed by his family and many friends. Craig is survived by his wife, Shirley Cunningham of Hinckley, IL; his children, Crystal (Michael) Smith of Waukegan, IL, David (Cindy) Cunningham of Earle, AR, Robin (Andy) Baulac of Killeen, TX and Deborah (Mike) Pease of Hinckley, IL; grandchildren Jessica (Ken) Coppes of Leland, IL, Heather (Blake) Whatley of Enterprise, AL, Kristephanie Massey, Plano, IL, Alan (Hannah) Pease of Big Rock, IL, & Mark Pease of Hinckley, IL; many great and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman & Velma Cunningham, his siblings & their spouses Joyce (Veron) Rogers, Richard (Vera) Cunningham, Charlotte (William) Rix, Peggy (Bud) Lane, Karen (Aubrey) Watson; & his grandsons Kenneth Craig Tollefson & Stephen Massey.
There will be a Celebration of Life in Illinois at a later date
