1950 - 2015

Curtis Shelley, 64, of Kenosha passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunda,y Aug. 2, 2015.

Curtis was born on Oct. 10, 1950, in Waukegan, Ill., the son of the late Ben and Emma (Applewhite) Shelley. He was educated in the schools of Waukegan. Curtis was employed as a forklift operator for many years at Case and Monarch Plastics. His hobbies included working on cars and spending time with his family and friends, especially his children. In his younger years, Curtis was an accomplished H.S. wrestler earning many accolades, trophies, and medals.

Survivors include his children, Sondra and Arnita, Curtis Booker, Michelle Shelley, and Natasha Shelley; a brother, Freddie Shelley; a sister, Evelyn Shelley; seven grandchildren; and many other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 4 p.m.

My condolences go out to the entire Shelley Family expecially the Children of his Late Sister Lucille Shelley which include: Anthony Shelley of Kenosha, WI. Victor Shelley,(Erica) of Henderson, NV and Shawn Shelley of Racine, WI. I'm sure all the Shelley siblings are reunited now and at a more peaceful place than this earth could offer them. REST PEACEFULLY.
