Billy was a client, partner, tenant and, most of all, a friend that one could always depend on. We have great memories of our relationship going back more than 35 years. The world will miss him and we'll miss knowing that he is here. Our condolences to his family.

I was shocked & saddened to hear of the loss of Billy. He was the epitome of a true southern gentleman, with a little bit of ironworker mixed in. The way he loved his Lord, his family, and his friends, is the greatest legacy he could leave. He will be truly missed by all.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Newton's passing. His love for his family was very evident. In the short time I have known him as my landlord he has been fair, honest and I also considered him my friend. Me and my employees will all miss him. You should be proud to know that your husband and father treated people in the manner that he did.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your dad. He was one of the kindest gentlemen I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He cared deeply for his family and friends. This was evident in the way he conducted himself. He will be truely missed.

Bill was a wonderful friend to me in a very trying time of my life. I worked with him for sev eral years both in Lexington and Austin. In fact, I moved to Austin to start his buisiness here. I was in Ky this summer and tried to call him but did not reach him. He was a fine, giving, caring man with zillions of friends all over. Carol, I am so sorry. You kids should be very proud of who he was. I am saddened beyond words for your loss. We have all lost a great man. '
