I don't think there is a week that goes by that I don't think of Brian. Although I only knew him a short time while working together at Lend Lease, he had a major impact on me. Not only was Brian one of the most intelligent people I had ever met, but he was also one of the most humble and gracious. I know how much he loved his family and how proud he was of his daughters. The world lost one of its best far too soon. Miss you, brother. John

To Brian's family,
I attended the University of KY with Brian and he was always one of the shining stars in our class. He was such a good friend and so talented in so many categories. We had a great time especially one summer during a Physics Lab class that we both attended together. I tried to lure Brian away from his current job a number of times throughout his career. May God bless you all. I am so going to miss my friend Brian.

Dear Brenda, Mr. and Mrs. Dillon and Family, I worked with Brian briefly and only met with him a handful of times. Regardless, he stood out in my mind immediately; I respected him greatly, and referred back to him on two occasions when I needed to check my thoughts on complex problems. Considering what he was going through it speaks volumes that he lent me his precious time. I will always remember your son, your husband, and your loved-one with great admiration.
Sincerely,
Kris Bravo, Woodstock, GA

Dear Dillon Family -
I have worked with Brian since the first day he started at IHG. I have so many fond memories of him trying to explain technical "stuff" to me and always being so patient. He taught me so much including how to be so very brave and optimistic. He touched so many here at IHG and we will miss him dearly. God Bless -

The Minister at Brian's service said that the world was a better place for him. I saw this again and again. I had a difficult time with some work and it was Brian's example that helped me solve it. I have always given him credit and now it will remain with me as a remembrance of him. It rained on the day of Brian's funeral but I will remember it not as dreary but that rain nourishes. The rain reminds me that Brian nourished and inspired me. I would also like to honor him for his service to his country in the Air Force. God bless his whole family.

Marina, my sincerest condolences to you and your family. It was a pleasure knowing Brian at IHG. I admired yours and his strength and amazingly positive outlook during the past year. As I read these sweet entries, I hope the girls will understand just how many people appreciated and admired their Daddy. Whenever you talked of him, it was very clear just how much love you all have for each other. That will never fade and will live in your hearts always. May Brian rest in peace. God bless!

To Brian's family,

Please know that Brian was well respected and very inspirational for us at IHG. So many people knew him as an intelligent, courageous, well rounded man. We knew he cared so much for all of you. He was always beaming when speaking of the girls. Please accept our deepest condolences and know he touched so many people in a positive manner. His memory will live with us as we remember all of his wonderful contributions. We pray for Brian and strength for all of you.

I had a privilege of knowing Brian for 5 years. Brian is one of the strongest men I have ever met in my life. Brian's courageous attitude and willpower were an inspiration for all of us. We loved and respected Brian and he will be deeply missed.
May God rest his soul.

Marina,

We have never met, but I had the honor and privilege to work for Brian several years ago at Lend Lease. In my entire career I have never encountered someone that so resonated with me as Brian did. I have often said to others that Brian was the individual I most wanted to emulate in my own life. I was amazed at his effortless ability to communicate with anyone, his deep command of technology, and sheer generosity. I have never forgotten the photos of you and your children that he had tacked up so proudly on the wall of his office.

The world is a dimmer place for Brian's passing, but a brighter place for all the people he touched during his life. My deepest condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.
