I knew Hodge Gay from Lafayette High School and later from Zandale Pharmacy from Lexington Ky. We were both younger but I know we both learned a lot as we got older. He was a very pleasant and had a fun personality. I am now In Indiana due to my health putting me closer to my daughter. I am seriously sorry to hear of his passing. Many years has passed so I didn't have the privilege of knowing in his later years but I have noticed many pleasant thoughts of him. He seems to been a very responsible and respected man. My condolences goes to all his family members. I am Harold Anderson class of 1962 Lafayette high school

It's been 13 years since you had to leave this earth. I miss you everyday Dad. This world was a better place because you were in it and always a phone call away. This world is not the world you and mom once knew, back when it was good. I love you forever, your little girl, Melanie.

I am so sorry. Hodge was my barber for over ten years. I always enjoyed talking with him about horse racing and Lexington, sports of all kinds, and politics. He was a good Democrat, but not the kind who always attacked the other side. Such a warm, kind, friendly man. I will miss him a lot. --Bing Somers, Greenville

I offer my sympathy and prayers for Hodge and his family. I remember fondly getting the best crew cut in town from Hodge. I ran into him not long ago and was glad to see him. I know that the Lord is taking care of him.
Yours in Christ,
