Sincere condolences to the McGuffey Family. Mr. McGuffey was one of the first persons I met when I moved to Kentucky over a decade ago, when I was looking for a barber. Even though I lived 20 miles away, I made the drive to Exquisite Belvedere because I truly enjoyed the experience that came with getting a hair cut from the man I respectfully addressed as "Brother Mac". He was always --ALWAYS--kind and respectful of everyone. He loved his family and his community; he was truly a man to be admired and respected. Brother Mac, you'll be missed. RIP!

To The McGuffey Family -

I was deeply saddened by the news of "Mac's" passing. Mac cut my hair for many years in Lexington at the old Esquire Barber Shop. Mac always had an easy way about himself that made coming to the barber shop a welcoming and relaxing experience. Mac will be truly missed by all who came to know him. My heart felt condolences to you and your family.

Mack is the last of the "Barber Masters" of Lexington, KY. He was an artist and a scientist when it came to hair. I utilized his services in recent years when no one could visualize the cut I wanted for my hair. He never failed me! Mack was an humble gentleman, with an infectious smile. I will miss him. Much love and caring to Mrs. McGuffey, Nicole and family.
