Mark Alan Meinze

RICHMOND - Mark Alan Meinze, 53, of Caleast Road, Richmond, passed away Tues., Sept. 28, 2004. He was a native of Boone County and was born April 21, 1951 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert K. (Angeline Chapman) Meinze. Mark was a graduate of Boone County High School and the University of Kentucky. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era, an avid outdoorsman, and an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. He was an employee of the Lexington Herald-Leader for 28 years. He was survived by wife, Donna Rose Meinze , Richmond, twin brother, Jon Meinze, Louisville, brother, Michael Meinze, Louisville, and two nieces, Jillian Meinze and Melissa Jones, both of Louisville. Memorial services will be conducted Sun., Oct. 10, 2004 at 3 pm at the First United Methodist Church, Main Street, Richmond, with Reverend Eugene Strange officiating. Visitation will be from 2:15 pm until service time Sun., Oct. 10, 2004, at the First United Methodist Church, Main Street, Richmond. Turpin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
