Thomas Howe Obituary

Thomas Robb (Tommy) Howe, 61, Obetz, OH, formerly of Lexington, husband of Ann Howe, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Doctors West Hospital in Columbus, OH. A native of Mason County, KY, he was the son of Evelyn Howe Thompson, Lexington, and the late Thomas Robb Howe, Sr. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School, a member of Lewisburg Baptist Church, and was presently attending Alum Creek Baptist Church in Obetz, OH. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam Conflict with the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways, a former mechanic for Sears, Roebuck and Company, and a member of Teamsters Union Local #413 in Columbus, OH. One of his past times was his enjoyment of riding motorcycles. In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include a son, Thomas Shay Howe, Lexington; a daughter, Deena Grimm and her husband, Kevin; four step children, Hugh Stickle and MeChelle Erickson, both of Virginia Beach, VA, Gary Stickle, Chesapeake, VA, and David Stickle, Obetz, OH; 11 step grandchildren; a sister, Pat Hall and her husband, William, Lexington; two nephews; and a niece. Funeral services will be 3pm Saturday at Brell and Son Funeral Home, 620 E. 2nd St. in Maysville, KY by Pastor Curtis Williams. Burial with military rites will be in Wedonia Cemetery in Maysville. Visitation will be 6-9pm today at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main Street, and 1-3pm Saturday at Brell and Son Funeral Home. Guest book at Legacy.com

Tom was a great friend, always there if you needed him. He will be missed by all. Sorry we could not be there. Did not get the news in time to make the trip. All the family has our deepest sympathy. We are very sorry. Worked with Tom at Consolidated and drove many, many miles together. Billy and Lula Mae.
