Jamie Johnston Obituary

Jamie Johnston (63) passed away peacefully at Riverbend Hospital in Springfield on April 30th with her family by her side. Jamie was born on March 11, 1962 to her loving parents Jesse and Jo Anne Ulloa in San Jose, CA. She married Johnnie Johnston on January 31, 1981 in Eugene, OR and they welcomed two sons, Brian Edward Johnston and Michael Thomas Johnston. Jamie has joined her brother Jeffery in Heaven is survived by her parents Jesse and Jo Anne, her husband Johnnie, her two sons Brian and Michael, grandchildren Luke, Breanne, Caden, Landon, and great grandson Houston. Jamie Jo Johnston was a woman you could rely on. A woman who always welcomed everyone with open arms, a smile, a meal, comfort and when you were with Jamie, you knew you were among family. She loved the outdoors; camping with her family and friends, floating the river in Johnnie's drift boat, driving up the McKenzie to the roaring rapids where her favorite spot is. Her hobbies included crafting, sewing, cooking and most of all, caring for others. She always put everyone's need above her own was a selfless woman. She loved cooking and filling her home with family and friends and lived her life with passion, purpose and tenacity. She was a loving and doting wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by many.
