My deepest condolences to Mimi's family. She was a kind and generous teacher and left a legacy of love in this community. I deeply regret not being present to honor her life last month. I have great memories working with Mimi, celebrating, sailing and more. Especially during the 1980's . My you take comfort in knowing she is remembered in so many special ways.

Where do I start? My adopted Mother, my friend, my confidant, my lyming partner. I miss you so much. I wish I had a chance to say goodbye. You was my 7th grade P.E. teacher at the Arthur A. Richards Junior High School in St. Croix. When I went to work in 1999 at the St. Croix Central High School we clicked and became good friends. You took me under your wings as your daughter and Mr. George Price took me as his daughter. I remember you , Price and myself was all AFT Union Representatives. We will go to the the meetings and when you or Price had enough we will sneak out the back door one by one in a sneaky mischievous manner to go get a drink at the bar behind the AFT Headquarters. I love you and miss you dearly. I didn't get to tell you that Ashley graduation was the same day that you passed. We were suppose to go drinking on that day. I called you on Wednesday, the day of your birthday and you didn't answer the phone, I called you on Thursday, and nothing, Friday morning to let you know that I was going to work half day and meet you at our usual lyming spot at 1pm and nothing. I later found out the following Monday that you had pass. Words cannot describe the way I feel. Every time I see a truck like yours, I still look to see if it is you like I am accustomed to do. Every time I put on the hair oil sheen you made me buy the last time I saw you in the store, I remember you. I dyed my hair blonde like you suggested and I never get to show it to you. I Miss You sooooo much but, God had a better plan for you. Until we meet again Mommy, I will hold you dear to my heart...............
