Charles Franklin Obituary

FRANKLIN, CHARLES WILLIAM - age 61, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was a member of St. Albert The Great Catholic Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by parents, James and Virginia Franklin; brothers, Don and Benjamin Franklin. Survived by wife, Jessica Franklin; daughter, Victoria Rogers; grandchildren, Scarlett Rogers and Peyton Rogers; sister, Sue Gunter and husband, Kenneth; nieces, Karen, Kim and Michelle; nephew, Tim. Funeral Mass is 9:00 am, Thursday at St. Albert The Great Catholic Church with Father Chris Michelson. Family and friends will meet 11:30 am, Thursday, at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for an interment service. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a Rosary to follow. www.mynattfh.com

I just rescently meet Charles when he travled to GC Services in Huntington, WV. He was very nice & friendly to each & everyone of use. He was a great help to us all. My thoughts & prayers are with Charle's family & friends.

I no longer work for GC Services, but I have never forgotten Charles as being a good person. He loved to work, and he didn't mind helping you on anything that you asked him, or sharing one of his many recipes. He was my boss for about a year, and I will truly miss him.
