MILLS, MILFORD (PODAD), JR. - born February 16, 1953, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2006. Preceded in death by father, Milford Mills, Sr., grandson, Lil Bozo, grandparents, Jonnie (Lucille) Butler, and George (Maggie) Mills, aunts, Roberta Ragland, Ollie Smith, Ruby Mills, uncle, Willie Mills. He leaves to cherish his memories daughters, Terri Mills, Sunshine Gillenwaters, Nashville; son, Timothy Davis, Knoxville; loving mother, Virginia Mills; sisters, Alice Blair, Teresa Mills; brothers, Charles (Delbra) Mills, Gerald (Jeneva) Mills, Jeffrey, Gregory Mills; grandchildren, Maisha, Micheal, Mykel, Jerrick, Sunshine Mills, Breanna Felder, Genesis, Jordan, Prince Gillenwaters all of Nashville, Shatara, Tresure Davis, Knoxville; aunts, Jeanetta Hardin, Minnie Clemons, Margarite (Nathaniel) Dickey, Helen Mills; uncles, Samuel (Elizabeth) Mills, Wilton (Lillie) Mills, John Lee (Glenn) Mills, Smyrna, Tenn., Carl Mills, Sr., Richard Ragland; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin to include devoted friends, Horace Simpson, Johnny Fishback, Ronnie Davis, Sr. and Lonsdale Community. The family will assemble at 3920 Summer Crest Way #214, Knoxville. The family will receive friends Monday 5:30-6:30 p.m. First Calvary Baptist Church (Delware Ave) Funeral service to follow with Rev. Dr. George Lyons, Jr., officiating. assisted by other ministers. Interment Tuesday 11:30 a.m. Arrangements by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
