Monica L. Moore Brown was born Dec. 18, 1968, died on April 4, 2015. Survived by husband, Perry; sons, Alex and Nolan; daughter, Mackenzie; parents, McArthur and Sylvia Moore, Knoxville, TN; brother, Stephen and wife, Tiffany, of Omaha Nebraska, and their children, Cheyenne and Xavier; aunts and uncles, Johnny and Joe Ann Moore, Oak Ridge, William and Belinda Moore, Knoxville, Zebedee and Shirley Moore, Valdosta, GA; mother and father-in-law, Perry and Addie Brown, Morrilton, AR; sister-in-law, Kim Brown, Ft. Smith, AR; special cousins in TN, AL, CO, CT, GA, PA, Jeanell, Stephanie, Regena, Johnny, Dee, Alicia, Heather, Kim, Jessica, Van, Michael, Edmond, Justin, and their children; special lifelong friends, Octavia, Deanna, Angela, Leslie, Tina, Amy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Monica graduated from Heath High School in Paducah, KY and did further studies at Pellissippi State. She worked as a paralegal and several home based jobs, so that she could spend most of her time taking care of her family, who was her greatest joy. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a faithful member of West End Church of Christ. She loved to sing, do crafts, flower gardens, and bargain shop.
The family will received friends Thursday, April 9 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., with services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Minister Wayne Miller will be officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. Service to conclude with white dove release. Perry and kids....we are so sorry to here about Monica! I want you all to know that you are praying for you all and will continue to pray in the coming days and months. To the kids, she was so proud of you all!!! Justin and I always have said, we've never seen kids so well behaved in our lives! Your parents have done an amazing job! I'll never forget, we had just moved in across the street and Monica wasn't familiar with cars that would be coming to our house (I had told her to watch our house while we were out of town). My Mom had to run over for something and Monica came straight outside and said now who are you? When my Mom told me that I laughed and knew I had put the right person in charge of watching our house!! She was very special to everyone around. We are thinking about and praying for you all!
