Ruby Halcomb Obituary

HALCOMB, RUBY G. - age 95 of Knoxville, entered into eternal rest, November 24, 2007. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents, Macy Mac and Annie A. Gallaher; and sisters, Willa Ruth Burress and Minnie Bell Selvedge; and dear niece, Judith Wilson. Ruby is survived by her daughter and son in law, Gerry G. and Stephen L. Kirk, Jr.; grandson, S. Lorenzo Kirk, III; granddaughter, Vanessa A. and husband Gregory Draeger; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 6:00 p.m. Monday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Rev. Clyde Lakin officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Edgewood Cemetery for graveside and interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. www.rosemortuary.com
