As I cross the river bridges and pass closely to the waters edge of our beautiful area lakes, my thoughts immediately turn to my dear friend Tom. I still sorely miss him today.
I could write a book of memories about my Tom and I....literally hundreds of honey buns, nutty buddy bars, and thermos' of coffee during those hundreds of fishing trips.
One pound bags of M & M's and family size bags of chips as we watched a good TV movie as the wives went to a local bingo parlor!
One thing I can assure those that remain and miss Tommy so much.....he dearly loved his family. Like me, he may not have been real good at verbally expressing his love for them, but in our many conversations that great love for family was so real.
Continue to plow through the smooth waters Tom .....no more sand bars to dodge, no more channel markers to miss, not more floating logs and debris to go around, smooth waters! I'll come aboard with you before too long!
