Thomas Hill Obituary

HILL, THOMAS SHANNON - age 45, of Talbott, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at his residence. He was a respected member of the community. He was owner/operator of Pizza Inn in Morristown and Jefferson City. He had a big heart and donated much food and gift certificates to support many charities. One charity that he was very supportive of was Kingswood School. He also was active with Toys for Tots and the Red Cross. He gave many young people employment opportunities. He was a special son and father and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Denise Hill. He is survived by his sons, Matthew Bryan Hill of Talbott and Jeremy Scott (Sandra Dawn) Hill of Knoxville; parents, James H. and Joe Ann Hill of Rogersville; grandchildren, Dylan Malachi Hill and Madison Fiona Hill; brothers, Sherman (Teresa) Hill of Bulls Gap and Shaw (Jessica) Hill of Rogersville; grandmother, Elizabeth Hill of Rogersville; niece, Amber Hill; special first cousin, Regina Wolfe of Austin, TX; and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Spoon and Rev. J.B. Gulley officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, June 16 and 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, prior to the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross, Toys for Tots, or Kingswood School. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
