Knoxville, TN
Tommy Lamar, "Tommy Real", Wilson, of Knoxville, departed this life Monday, August 1, 2016, at UT Medical Center. Born November 2, 1958, raised in the Lonsdale Community and educated in the Knoxville City Schools. He loved football, fishing and hunting. He was a concrete finisher and carpenter by skill. Tommy was always smiling, full of fun and loved snapping pictures. His favorite saying was "The women in my family was always queen", and referred to women as his queens.
Preceded in death by grandfathers, Joe Wilson and Leroy Dunn; brother, Michael Wilson; sister, Lynette Fugate; neice, Jossie LaFall. Survivors: mother, Johnnie Wade; daughter, Diane K. Crawford, Huntsville, AL; grandmother, Mary Dunn; brothers, Kenneth Wilson, Charleston, Mississippi, and Samuel Cole Jr., Knoxville; sister, Sarah (Boyzie) Turner; grandchildren, Hadassiah Jones, Josiah Barker, Huntsville, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends, 6:00-6:30 p.m., Saturday, at Jarnigan's Chapel, funeral service, 6:30 p.m., Minister Dennis Murphy officiating. Arrangements by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary, www.jarnigansmortuary.com
