Herbert Brown Obituary

Herbert H. Brown, 84, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Franciscan Health Care Center. He was a retired employee of the Kroger Warehouse. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Vicki Sue Milby and Karen Denise Brown; and a granddaughter, Chantelle Dale. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Downs Brown; three daughters, Deborah Lynn Unseld, Mary "Gina" Scott (Terry) and Angie Knoop (Charlie); two brothers, Wallace and Bill Brown and one sister, Lorene Coulter; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in the chapel of the Franciscan Health Care Center, 3625 Fern Valley Road, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road and after noon Thursday, Dec. 13, at Franciscan Chapel. Ratterman and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
