David and I went through Boot Camp together and were together briefly at Danang Air Force Base, Vietnam. Shortly, after arrival in Vietnam, we watched a movie together "In the Heat of the Night" with Sydney Poitier with about 100 marines. We sat on the ground and watched the film projected onto a portable screen. That night was special because we were so in need of a little entertainment to take our minds off of what was about to happen. We were separated shortly afterwards when we were sent to our units. I often wondered if Duffy made it out of Vietnam alive. That prompted me to search for him on Safari. Good to know that he survived and he had a full life. May he rest in peace! I would be interesting in knowing more about his life after Vietnam. [email protected]
