Sending condolences and comforting hugs to you Jane, Greg and Jim. Your mother was such a beautiful soul and I will always remember her kindness. When I was 5 or 6 I cut her roses to make May day baskets for the neighbors...my mom was not happy! Of course I delivered one to your mom and remember the surprise on her face knowing the flowers came from her trellis-she said "thank you- there will be more roses there for you soon." She also saved my life when I was choking on a watermelon jolly rancher! So many memories of her kindness.

Dear Jim, Greg and Jane, Our entire family has such wonderful memories of both your mom and dad! Our parents were Dr. Al and Joan Hickey, good friends of theirs. Jeanette came to the rescue with a refresher on how best to bathe a baby when while visiting my folks shortly after giving birth I got a blood clot and was hospitalized . Mom was suddenly in for new born care when it had been a number of years since caring for my little sister Yvonne. Even though she had four of her own mom was SO nervous. Jeanette was so kind always and would not think twice before helping. She was simply.... the best!

Jim, Greg and Jane,
I just found out today (Oct. 4th) of Jeanette's passing. God rest her soul. My memories of Jeanette and Al are warm and loving. From the day we moved to 423 S. 10th St., Jeanette welcomed us, made cookies and cakes for us and was a life saver when Shannon was about 4 or 5 and was choking on Jolly Rancher. I recently reminded Jeanette of how grateful we all were (and are) for her emergency care. I will add Jeanette to my long list of souls I pray for every night, including my Tom and Al. God bless you all!!! Diane Renne
