Anna Maria Chaniott

Anna Maria Chaniott, 55, of LaFollette, died Jan. 17.
She attended Duff Baptist Church. She was a child caregiver for the LaFollette Housing Authority Child Care Program for many years, a draftsperson by trade, and along with her husband owned and operated a grocery and produce business.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Phillips.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years and love of her life, John Chaniott of LaFollette; mother, Kathleen Phillips, of LaFollette; sister, Margaret Demps and husband, Richard, of Andersonville; brother, Steve Phillips, of LaFollette; special niece, April Dawn Newcomb and husband, Mike, of Clinton; mother-in-law, Nell Chaniott, of LaFollette; and a special friend who loved Anna, Mr. Hoyle Lay, of LaFollette; several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Jan. 21 at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Kitts officiating.
Interment was at Bakers Forge Cemetery.
