Celeste Clotfelter Obituary

Celeste (Lisa) Cooper Clotfelter, 67, of Jacksboro, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, Dec. 13 after a long battle with cancer. Celeste was a loving and amazing mother, Mamaw, Great-Mamaw, sister and daughter. She was a very hard-working, giving, selfless lady that loved her family and the Lord fiercely. She retired from Mag, USA, after working there for 18 years.

She is preceded in death by her father, William (Bill) J. Cooper; and stepson, Delbert (Dink) L. Clotfelter III.

Celeste is survived by her husband of 48 years, Delbert (Del) L. Clotfelter Jr.; son, Eric M. Clotfelter and wife, Sarah; stepdaughter-in-law, Amy Clotfelter; mother, Johnnie (Granny) V. Cooper; sister, Cindy Wilson and husband, Dan; sister, Rita Dempsey; grandchildren, Katelynn Thibodeaux and husband, Sylas, Laila Jett, Isaac Jett, William "Mason" Clotfelter, Anna Clotfelter, Gabe Clotfelter and Dixie Clotfelter; great-granddaughter, Meliah Thibodeaux; goddaughter and niece, Cheyenne McCullah; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

The family would like to thank her hospice workers and Thompson Oncology for taking excellent care of her.

Celeste's wishes were to be cremated, and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Alder Funeral Home of Morristown is in charge of arrangements.
