David Wayne Sharp, 63, of LaFollette, passed away on Wednesday, May 25.

David always had a smile and was very giving and generous to everyone that he met, but his true pride and joy was his grandson, Aiden. Together with his wife, Jeannie, they enjoyed being at the beach, especially traveling to Destin, Florida.

David was a truck driver and was formerly employed with TCT Trucking and most recently drove for Food Lion.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Sharp and Elizabeth Sharp McTaggart; and grandparents, Robert "Happy" and Margaret Sparks.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Queener Sharp; daughter, Miranda Sharp and fiancé, Daniel Wilson; grandson, Aiden Wilson; stepson, Bryan Queener and wife, Taylor, and their children, Braylon and Braylee; brother, Derek Sharp and his children, Michael, Anastasia and Jax Sharp; sisters-in-law, Jewell Campbell, Linda Vann, Janice Haun, Martha Cooper and Tracy Jones; very special brother-in-law, Johnny Jones; special nieces, Joni Seiber and Lakean Davis; special friends, Rodney and Tammy McCarty; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
