Jack Wilson Obituary

Jack Wilson, 80, of LaFollette, passed away on Sunday, August 15. He was of the Baptist faith.

Jack was a lifelong farmer and a former construction worker. He was a man of God and believed in helping those in need. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mayme Weaver Wilson; and brothers, Emmitt Paul and Bobby Joe Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Turner Wilson; children, Diana Boshears and husband, Sam, Brian Wilson, Wayne Wilson and Teresa West; grandchildren, Tiffany, Cody, Rache', Trista, Jordan, Brianna, Candace and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Christian, Aurora, Jayden, Noelle and Neftally; sister, Hazel Dean Roberts; sister-in-law, Barbara Wilson; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services are on Thursday, August 19 at 7 p.m. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with his grandson, Cody Boshears, officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 19 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before funeral services.

Friends and family will meet on Friday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Bakers Forge Cemetery for graveside services and interment.
