Samantha Stockton Obituary

Samantha Gene Stockton, 36, of Kenosha, WI, died November 30, 2015. She was born December 13, 1978 in Waukegan, IL. She graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School then studied nursing at Gateway College in Kenosha. Sam had a genuine personality with a caring heart which showed in her love for nursing and volunteering at the humane society. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and reading. Sam is survived by her best friend and partner, Shane Jackson of Kenosha; father William Stockton of Kenosha; mother Diane McDermott (fiancé Jeffery Elst) of Kenosha; two brothers Ryan Matthew Stockton of Kenosha, and Joshua Raymond Stockton of Champaign-Urbana; grandmother Jean Stockton of Hendersonville, TN; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents William Stockton, and Eugene and Dorothy Raymond. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. I knew Samantha for a short time a few years ago. I am sorry and saddened to hear of her passing. She was a loving and caring person.
