Brad Cochran Obituary

Brad Andrew Cochran, aged 66, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Gainesville, FL. Born on April 25, 1958, Brad was the cherished son of the late Lucille (Hecker) Cochran and G. Ray Cochran. He was also the loving brother to Brooke (Cochran) DeAntonio, who preceded him in death.
Brad honorably served in the Marine Corp for just over three years, dedicating himself to the values of courage and commitment that define the Corps. His service to the nation was a significant chapter in his life, reflecting his dedication and resilience.
Beyond his military service, Brad was passionate about cooking, fishing, and various crafts, activities that brought joy not only to him but also to those around him. These hobbies were a testament to his creativity and love for life.
Brad is survived by his nephew, Chris DeAntonio. His presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Brad and I served in the Marines together in 1983. We reunited later in life when I found out on Fb that he lived in Lake City. 1.5 hours from me. Just talked with him on July 10. It saddens me to have found out that Brad had passed.
