Larry Huddleston Obituary
Survivors include his wife, Mary Huddleston of Seminole, son Zach of Los Angeles, daughter Amy of Jacksonville and parents Frank and Wyanona Huddleston of Las Animas, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Birks of Denver.
He graduated from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado. He was an avid golfer and former member of Quail Heights Country Club.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Moss Feaster Funeral Home in Largo, Florida, on Tuesday, September 24, at 2 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to wear flip flops. Additional services will be held in Las Animas, Colorado, at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, Purple Team, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.

I was very fortunate to share many laughs and memories with Larry at Quail Heights CC, bought several used golf clubs from Larry before eBay existed.

Larry was a most gentle and helpful spirit. He was so helpful and thoughtful to the Bridges of America family. We share in the loss of such a special person. His kindness will always be remembered. Although I was not around Larry as much, I know he was a swell person just from the outpooring of love I have seen for him over this last 6 months and two of the sweetest ladies I have ever met are Nona and Irene, so I know he had the best mentors growing up a person could ever ask for. I worked with Larry at Columbian School. I will never forget how excited he was over Halloween parties. He went to great lengths to have a great party for his students. He enjoyed life to the fullest.
