Daniel A. Farkas

September 30, 1942 - February 8, 2023 Daniel A. Farkas (80) of Beverly Hills, California, passed away on February 8, 2023. Daniel was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Beverly Hills at age 4 where he lived the majority of his life. Daniel graduated from USC for both his bachelor's and dental degrees and had a dental practice in Montebello, California for nearly 50 years. He studied in Israel for a year between his undergrad and dental degree and earned his Associates degree in Jewish Studies at the (formerly known as) University of Judaism while in college. Daniel was on the board of L.A. Hebrew High School throughout much of his adult life and was actively involved in the Jewish community, including in Israel Bonds, the Jewish Federation, and the Technion. He was devoted to supporting Jewish education and the state of Israel. Daniel enjoyed seeing movies and musicals, as well as listening to cantorial music. He was also a gifted story and joke-teller. Daniel was a beloved husband, father and grandfather, and was a kind-hearted and generous man, who will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Dalia, two daughters Ronit (Fred) and Keren (Philippe), and four grandchildren Jacob, Noah, Levi and Lily. He is also survived by his brothers Teddy and David.
